The chilly wind swept through my hair, undoing my messy pigtails. My heels clicked against the yellow brick road. Toto to my left  barked at the mice as they scurried through the field. Munchkins kept telling me that Oz does end, so what lies ahead of the yellow brick road? The tornado that swept me to Oz left a devastating affect on me, cuts and bruises covered my skin, I was stuck in this strange land with no help or friends apart from Toto. The lone light illuminated the submarine with an eerie glow. A ghostly gasp gradually made its way through the crowd as all eyes peered through the captain’s window. The colossal squid drifted along side the vehicle, as it came rushing towards us we screamed. We were helpless. The light once again dimmed, but it didn’t turn back on. We were stuck in this crepuscular 104 year old marine mechanism. Left to die of starvation or dehydration. The mollusc disappeared out of sight. People began to whisper, what would happen to them, where would they end up, what would become of them?
